Driver Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions regulate all transactions that take place between Orgate Ltd and its Drivers. These terms and conditions can be found on this website. The Drivers acknowledges that they have read and agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions that are outlined on this website by take ride job .

  1. Eligibility: All drivers must be legally eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving license. Additionally, they must have their own vehicle, which meets Orgate Runners’s requirements for safety and appearance.
  2. Insurance: All drivers must have valid and adequate insurance coverage for their vehicle. They are responsible for maintaining their insurance policy and ensuring that it remains in force for the duration of their contract with Orgate Runners.
  3. Professionalism: Drivers must always conduct themselves in a professional manner, including when interacting with clients and other Orgate Runners employees. They are expected to arrive at jobs punctually and be dressed appropriately for the occasion.
  4. Safety: Drivers must adhere to all relevant laws and regulations related to driving, including those governing speed limits, traffic signals, and road safety. They must maintain their vehicle in good working order and report any issues to Orgate Runners promptly.
  5. Communication: Drivers must be always reachable and responsive to communication from Orgate Runners, especially regarding any changes or updates to job details.
  6. Payment: Drivers will be paid according to the agreed-upon rate for each job they complete. Payment will be made by Orgate Runners within a week, the statement will be sent on Monday and the payment will be made on Wednesday.
  7. Confidentiality: Drivers must maintain the confidentiality of any information they receive from Orgate Runners or its clients, including but not limited to personal information, addresses, and schedules.
  8. Vehicle Requirements: Drivers must have a vehicle that meets Orgate Runners’s standards for safety, appearance, and performance. This includes regular maintenance and inspections, as well as proper registration and licensing.
  9. Client Interaction: Drivers are expected to be courteous, respectful, and professional when interacting with clients. They must follow all client requests and adhere to any special requirements, such as dress code or route preferences.
  10. Job Assignment: Orgate Runners reserves the right to assign jobs to drivers based on availability, location, and other factors. Drivers must be available to accept, and complete assignments as requested, unless they have a valid reason for declining a job.
  11. Cancellation Policy: If a driver needs to cancel a job for any reason, they must notify Orgate Runners as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in a penalty or termination of their contract.
  12. Safety and Security: Drivers must always ensure the safety and security of their clients and their belongings. This includes following any security protocols, such as checking identification, as well as keeping the vehicle locked and secure when not in use.
  13. Marketing and Promotion: Drivers may not use Orgate Runners’s name, logo, or other branding materials for their own marketing or promotional purposes, without prior approval from the company.
  14. Liability: Drivers are responsible for any damage or loss that occurs to their vehicle or to a client’s property while on the job. Orgate Runners is not responsible for any liability or damages incurred by the driver while working for the company.
  15. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: Drivers must agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information about Orgate Runners and its clients, including but not limited to personal information, addresses, and schedules.
  16. Background Checks: Orgate Runners reserves the right to conduct background checks on drivers to ensure that they meet the company’s standards for professionalism, safety, and reliability.
  17. Indemnification: Drivers must agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orgate Runners from any liability, damages, or losses that result from their actions or omissions while on the job.
  18. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes between Orgate Runners and a driver must be resolved through mediation or arbitration, rather than through the courts.
  19. Non-Solicitation: Drivers may not solicit Orgate Runners’s clients or attempt to establish a direct relationship with them, either during or after their contract with the company.
  20. Intellectual Property: Any intellectual property created by drivers while working for Orgate Runners, such as photos or videos, is owned by the company and may not be used or distributed without prior approval.
  21. Compliance with Laws: Drivers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, tax, and immigration.
  22. Insurance: Drivers must have their own liability insurance coverage that meets Orgate Runners’s standards. They must provide proof of insurance upon request and notify the company of any changes in coverage.
  23. Termination: Orgate Runners may terminate a driver’s contract at any time, with or without cause, if they fail to meet the company’s standards or violate any of the terms and conditions of their agreement.
  24. Client Feedback: Orgate Runners may solicit feedback from clients about their experience with a driver, and the driver must be willing to accept and respond to feedback in a constructive and professional manner.
  25. Training and Development: Orgate Runners may provide training and development opportunities for drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, and drivers must be willing to participate in these programs as requested.
  26. Vehicle Maintenance: Drivers must maintain their vehicles in a safe and reliable condition, including regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs. They must also comply with any vehicle requirements and standards set by Orgate Runners.
  27. Uniform and Appearance: Drivers must adhere to a dress code and grooming standards established by Orgate Runners, which may include wearing a uniform and maintaining a professional appearance.
  28. Personal Conduct: Drivers must conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner at all times, and must refrain from any behaviour that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive.
  29. Client Safety and Security: Drivers must always prioritize client safety and security, and must be aware of and comply with any security protocols or procedures established by Orgate Runners.
  30. Force Majeure: Orgate Runners will not be held liable for any damages, losses, or delays resulting from events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, or government actions.
  31. Route and Destination Information: Drivers must provide Orgate Runners with accurate and up-to-date information about the route and destination of each trip, including any changes or deviations from the original plan.
  32. Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA): Drivers must provide an ETA to Orgate Runners for each trip and must notify the office of any delays or changes to the estimated arrival time.
  33. Passenger On-Board (POB) Notification: Drivers must notify Orgate Runners when the passenger is on board and the trip has started and must provide updates on the status of the trip as needed.
  34. Parking Charges: Drivers must inform Orgate Runners of any parking charges incurred during a trip and must provide receipts or other documentation as needed to support these charges.
  35. Extra Waiting Time Charges: Drivers must inform Orgate Runners of any extra waiting time charges incurred during a trip and must provide documentation to support these charges. They must also obtain approval from the client or Orgate Runners before incurring any extra waiting time charges.
  36. Emergency Situations: Drivers must immediately notify Orgate Runners in the event of an emergency, such as an accident or breakdown, and must follow any procedures or protocols established by the company for handling such situations.
  37. Passenger No-Show Policy: In the event of a passenger no-show, drivers must follow the policies and procedures established by Orgate Runners, which may include waiting for a specified amount of time before leaving, attempting to contact the passenger, and notifying the office of the situation.
  38. Evidence of Passenger No-Show: Drivers must obtain and provide evidence of the passenger no-show, such as a record of attempted communication or a photo of the location and time of the scheduled pick-up.
  39. Verification: Orgate Runners reserves the right to verify the evidence of a passenger no-show and to decide regarding any charges or fees that may be assessed to the passenger or driver.
  40. Dispute Resolution: If there is a dispute regarding a passenger no-show, drivers must follow the dispute resolution process established by Orgate Runners, which may involve providing additional evidence or participating in mediation or arbitration.
  41. Timeliness Policy: Drivers are expected to arrive on time for each trip and must take all necessary steps to ensure that they are able to meet the scheduled pick-up time.
  42. Notification of Lateness: If a driver is running late for a scheduled pick-up, they must immediately notify Orgate Runners of the situation and provide an estimated time of arrival.
  43. Responsibility for Missed Pick-Ups: If a driver is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled pick-up and the passenger has already left with another taxi or transportation provider, the driver will not be paid for the missed pick-up and may be subject to additional penalties or charges.
  44. Documentation of Tardiness: Drivers must provide documentation to support any claims of tardiness, such as traffic reports or receipts for any additional expenses incurred to arrive on time.
  45. Job Acceptance Policy: Once a driver has accepted a job, they are expected to fulfil the commitment, barring any unforeseen circumstances or valid reasons for rejection.
  46. Valid Reasons for Rejection: Valid reasons for a driver to reject a job include illness, vehicle breakdown, or any other unforeseen circumstances that prevent the driver from fulfilling the commitment.
  47. Notification of Rejection: If a driver needs to reject an accepted job, they must immediately notify Orgate Runners of the situation and provide a valid reason for the rejection.
  48. Cost of Rejected Jobs: If a driver rejects an accepted job without a valid reason, they will be responsible for covering any costs associated with finding a replacement driver or alternative transportation for the client.
  49. Documentation of Valid Reasons: If a driver needs to reject an accepted job due to illness, vehicle breakdown, or other valid reason, they must provide documentation to support the claim, such as a doctor’s note or repair receipt.
  50. Updates to Terms and Conditions: Orgate Runners reserves the right to update or modify these driver terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice to drivers.
